What is PolkaPets?
PolkaPets will be the first-ever digital collectible card game that features Polkadot projects in an interactive and immersive game. It is our answer to making blockchain more interactive for community members.
PolkaPets is an NFT Collectible Card where each PolkaPet, embodied as an artistic creature, represents a specific project within the PolkaPet ecosystem. The abilities, behaviors, and strengths of this creature are connected to the specific vision of the Polkadot project of which that creature represents.
With each card in the PolkaPets Universe having its own unique utility, we believe this NFT Card Game will bring unique utility to the Polkadot community.
How Do They Work?
Each PolkaPet will be featured as an artistically inspired collectible card that is tied to a non-fungible token (NFT), which will allow for digital sales of each item using cryptocurrency. Each of these NFTs will have a unique utility designed by the PolkaPets’ partner that is co-releasing the card.
Whoever holds these NFTs will have access to the benefits that this card utility will provide.

What is the goal of PolkaPets? How does the PolkaPets project contribute to the NFT movement and the DeFi ecosystem?
PolkaPet is designed not only to be attractive to collectors but also to be used as part of a competitive game.
Every sale of a PolkaPet card will directly benefit both its constituent project and the PolkaPet Foundation, which is a DAO designed to provide grants to new and innovative DeFi projects via a community voting system.
PolkaPet cardholders will even have the ability to vote and select recipients, giving them control over where their money goes in accelerating the applications and technology that will bolster NFTs in the future, and much more!
