$PETS Token from PolkaPet World to Launch on Moonriver, in partnership with Solarbeam
21 October 2021 — PolkaPet World, in partnership with Solarbeam, has today announced that the upcoming $PETS token smart contract will be launched on Moonriver, the Kusama parachain and companion network for Polkadot project Moonbeam. The announcement means that the $PETS token will officially be native to the Polkadot ecosystem, with the ERC-20 token being easily transferable to the Ethereum network.
PolkaPet World has always sought to immerse its community in the Polkadot ecosystem through its partners, and utilities associated with the PolkaPets NFTs. Now $PETS holders will be able to interact with cheap, fast and reliable DeFi products through the soon-to-be-released PolkaPet World DeFi application exclusively on the Moonriver parachain.
The PolkaPet World DeFi application will allow users to stake and farm $PETS tokens, earning valuable rewards including exclusive NFTs, tokens from partner projects, and of course $PETS tokens. The app has been built in partnership with leading Moonriver DEX platform Solarbeam, who will also be supporting the launch of $PETS through their IDO Launchpad.
